By: ADVNC Lacrosse Best in the West Staff

2025 CLASS

Jonathon Benerofe (attack, Salisbury School, CT, Sweetlax) a shifty righty with a high IQ. He made the right play often. In transition, he curled up the hash into space and scored a nice righty jump shot. Played with his head up behind the cage and found his teammates on skip passes.

Derek Hoffmann (attack, Monte Vista, CA, ADVNC NDP): in the limited minutes Derek Hoffman played because of an achilles injury, he showcased he was one of the best players within the 2025 group. He's an explosive, athletic, dominant left-handed playmaker with a DI frame.

Alex Grant (midfield, Vista Del Lago, CA, ADVNC Sac): he stood out for his athleticism and ability to play both sides of the ball and make plays in between the lines. One of the top midfielders at the Camp.

Phinn Kelly-Zuckerman (defense, Serra HS, CA, ADVNC NDP): Phinn stood out in all aspects of his defensive game. Good feet covering 1-1, sliding, and pushing in transition. One of the top 2025 poles at the Camp.

2026 CLASS

Kody Haan (attack, Saint Ignatius, ADVNC NDP): An exceptional off-ball scorer with a very slick left hand. Understands how to drift into dangerous pockets of space, has a quick release, and doesn’t need much space to get his shot off. Understands how to dodge with patience and get to his spot at 7 & 7. Handled physicality of defensemen well. When dodging up the hash, was able to see through the defense to the backside, or step away and free his hands and hips to shoot.

‘26 Aarush Navin Chander

Aarush Navin Chander (midfield, St. Francis, CA, ADVNC NDP): Has a knack for finding the back of the net from the righty wing, and good things seemed to keep happening when the ball was in his stick. An aggressive righty dodger that seemed fearless and can get to middle of the field.

‘26 Max Wenger on defense

Max Wenger (ssdm, Torrey Pines HS, CA, Seattle Starz/ ADVNC NDP): great covering 1-1 and was unbeatable in the first half of his first game covering some of the opponent's best midfielders. Great off the ground, pushing in transition. Scored 2 goals in transition.

Dimitri Lampros (midfield, Jesuit, OR, Team Oregon/ ADVNC NDP): very shifty lefty with smooth feet, a great split, a slick stick, and a high IQ. Notably drifted to his right on the left wing, split to his left and stung one for a goal. Understood dodging angles well and understood how to create leverage topside or underneath.

Aidan Santini (attack, Eastlake HS, WA, Seattle Starz/ ADVNC NDP): a tall, skilled lefty attack who can win his match up, get to the rack, and stretch the defense with his shooting range. Showcased his ability to use his frame to get topside and turn the corner, stay up the hash and shoot jumpers, and score off the catch with his feet set.

Nick Gaston (defensemen, Issaquah HS, WA, Seattle Starz/ ADVNC NDP): passes the eye test of a DI close defensemen. Great communicator, great posture on and of the ball & rangy. In one instance, he was covering on ball, went over the head at GLE and stripped his attackman, picked up the GB, pushed in transition, and made the right pass that led to a goal.

John Barnds (midfield, Sacred Heart Prep, CA, ADVNC NDP): looks the part of a DI midfielder: big, strong, fast, and athletic. Won his 1-1 matchup often and is an exceptional righty shooter. One of the most talented shooters with his right hand at the Camp .. Barnds can absolutely bring the heat.

2027 CLASS

David Sala (midfield, Sacred Heart Prep, CA, ADVNC NDP): One of the most skilled players on the field. Sala was one of the best two-way midfielders at the Camp, and in contention for best overall player on the field. Showcased his athleticism, skill, and IQ.

Alex Trette (attack/ midfield, De La Salle, CA, ADVNC NDP): a “big fella” who moves well and shoots the ball very hard. Clearly one of the most talented and developed offensive players on the field.

Connor Dugan (goalie, Santa Margarita HS, CA, Cali Gold). A standout goaltender who is a good shot stopper and a stellar communicator. He was in full command of his defense. Great stick and found his teammates leaking out in transition off of saves.
